Engine Curve Revisited

increase the radius of the curve to 10 chains

Engine Curve is so named because there was a stationary engine here which hauled coal waggons on their way towards the Tyne from Tanfield.   During the course of our work a retaining wall has been cleared and the wide ledge here has become apparent.
