A footpath now - but what were the mainstays of this line?

What's the line's connection with TR?

The photos were taken last weekend on the footpath connecting North Sunderland with Seahouses, on the route of the North Sunderland Railway (NSR), which was built in the 1890s to carry fish & people between Seahouses and the NER main line at Chathill.

Armstrong Whitworth 0-4-0 diesel locos similar to our No.2 ran on this line.   At one time we had 3 compartments of a carriage body from NSR No.2, which was also ex GER & SSM&WCR.

This is the only extant bridge I can find
- it goes over the railway

I couldn't take a better photo from the trackbed, because on one side there is an overgrown bog, and the other is an overgrown rubbish tip.   The other road overbridge further up the line has been infilled.   I'm unsure if the bridge over Long Nanny Burn shown on  the map below still exists - anyone care to find out?
