Friday Evening
Cochrane, No.21 & Twizell raise steam outside Marley Hill shed
Looking out of Marley Hill shed - austerities Gamma & 49 lie dormant,
No.2 is enveloped in steam outside, Twizell has backed in for oiling & water
Nos.62, 21 & 2 plus Cochrane outside MH shed, ready for the photographic evening

Saturday Afternoon
Nos 21 & 62 are about to cross Houghwell Burn with a northbound passenger train
from East Tanfield to Andrews House, where No.21 will detach & go to Marley Hill
No.21 leaves Marley Hill with coal empties for Sunniside
No.62 alone with the passenger train approaching Terrace Junction

Sunday
About 8 am, No.21 inside MH shed, Cochrane & No.2 outside
An hour later, No.62 starts up Causey West Incline with coal empties
Another hour later, Twizell heads into Bowes Bridge with a mixed train
An hour later again, No.62 takes water while confined to shunting in MH yard,
meanwhile No. 62 is at MH station awaiting its next move
Cochrane leaves MH curve on a short coal lunch time coal train for Sunniside
Late afternoon, No.62 on Causey East Incline with a very mixed train,
including No.35 hiding in the bushes at the back
